Leading apartment technology firm appoints industry veteran to drive continued expansion

Campbell, Calif. – On-Site.com, the top provider of online leasing solutions for the apartment business, today announced the appointment of Monte Jones to the role of President. In his new role, Jones assumes responsibility for all customer-facing departments, business development and strategic planning. Jones’ appointment by the apartment tech innovator signals an increased focus on market expansion while continuing to provide first-class leasing technology and service to the current customers that have made On-Site’s success possible.

Since joining On-Site 18 months ago as Director of Sales, Jones has grown the company’s sales team into a truly national force with new offices opened in Colorado, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Florida. In just over one year Jones’ revamped sales team grew revenue nearly 30%. The sales team was aided in their efforts by a surge in new product rollouts in 2012 including apartment mapping and screening on-demand. Together these new features allow renters to shop available apartments at a community using a satellite map interface, apply to their chosen apartment and then run a background check on themselves and qualify instantly with screening on-demand.

While as Director of Sales, Jones also strove to better support the success of On-Site’s employees and customers through the adoption of a single CRM platform across all departments of the company. Jones successfully unified the training, account management and client services teams under one CRM system, which allowed On-Site to better respond to customer needs long after the initial sale.

Jones has worked in the multifamily industry for over 11 years, including a turn as S.V.P. sales for resident screening company CoreLogic SafeRent. While at SafeRent Jones built one of the industry’s largest field sales and support teams and oversaw the successful integration of six acquired companies. Jones has been involved with technology companies throughout his career. Prior to multifamily, Jones built national sales, service and marketing teams for growth stage and start-up companies focused on the broadcasting and manufacturing sectors. Most notably, Jones served as VP at Four Winds Interactive, a leader in digital signage and number 16 on Forbes Magazine’s 2011 list of most promising companies.

Jones received his MBA from Colorado State University in 2004.
