Campbell, Calif. – On-Site.com, the top provider of online leasing automation for the apartment business, announced the promotion of Jake Harrington to its Chief Executive Officer. After graduating from Duke University, Jake built On-Site’s presence in New York City, which remains one of its most successful markets. He has spoken on real estate technology at conferences such as Apartment Internet Marketing and has been featured in periodicals such as the New York Times and Multifamily Executive. His influence has pushed On-Site to maintain a startup mentality of pushing innovation even as it has grown to be a market leader.

Fellow company founders Scott Jones and Tom Harrington now serve as Chief Technology Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors, respectively.

“I’ve worked with Jake for several years on many creative projects,” said Nancy Packes, president of a real estate consulting firm in New York. “He has the amazing ability to be both extremely detail oriented yet easy to deal with in all interfaces from top developers to leasing personnel.” Over several decades, Nancy has overseen the marketing of over 50 rental and condominium projects; she currently represents over 5000 rental apartments in Manhattan using On-Site’s services. “Jake is so genuinely likeable—not because he glad-hands people, he is actually quite reserved—but because he is such an admirable guy.”

On-Site began as a modest startup aimed at helping apartment managers fill out forms within a small family-run apartment business. It quickly became the fastest growing company in the apartment sector, and its founders realized the great need for technology in an underserved market. Today On‑Site delivers a first-class platform to the apartment business that attracts, qualifies and leases to today’s renters using a 100% paperless “listing to lease” solution.

Today, On-Site employs 125 technologists, account teams and support representatives who service over 3 million apartment units in all 50 states. The company relocated its Silicon Valley headquarters to Campbell’s flagship office building to accommodate its growth. On-Site’s customer service and engineering teams are based 100% in the United States.
