Multi-Housing News selected On-Site as a finalist for its First Annual Green Initiative Awards and its readership voted On-Site as Top Resident Screening System in the Technology Choice Awards in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Jake built the company’s presence on the East coast from its office in New York City, now one of On-Site’s most successful markets. Jake is a board member and committee chair of the Housing Industry Foundation in the San Francisco Bay Area, has spoken on multifamily technology at the Apartment Internet Marketing, InterFace Student Housing and National Credit Reporting Association conferences, is a contributor and resource for industry periodicals such as units and Multifamily Executive, is a featured panelist on Multifamily Real Estate Roundtable discussions hosted by UBS and Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, and was selected as the official blogger of the National Apartment Association.
He graduated from Duke University with degrees in English and Business. Jake currently divides his time between the Silicon Valley and New York City.
Monte Jones
Director of Sales
Monte leads On-Site’s sales team with a keen focus on delivering successful solutions for customers. A 15-year veteran in the multi-family industry, Monte has built sales, account management and operations teams that deliver value and insight to real estate operators.

Prior to joining On-Site, he led the sales team at RentPayment.com/Yapstone, a payment processor and integrated partner with On-Site. Between 2001 and 2010, Monte rose to become the Senior Vice President of Sales at First Advantage SafeRent, a resident screening provider. Monte has recruited and trained both regional leadership and local personnel throughout his career.
Monte holds a master’s degree from Colorado State University.
Scott Jones
Chief Technology Officer
Scott leads On-Site’s technology team, having co-founded the company. Under Scott’s direction, On-Site was awarded a patent for On-Site’s unique integration of built-in documents into the resident application and leasing process. The company has several other patents pending.

Scott previously co-founded Izio Corporation, a web-based e-learning platform for university courses. As Director of Engineering, Scott scaled the platform to be used by students and professors at 200 universities nationwide.
Scott holds a master’s degree from Stanford University, where he studied mechanical engineering and computer science. As an undergraduate, Scott competed in men’s varsity swimming, winning the NCAA Team Championship in 1994, achieving All-American and Academic All-American Honors, serving as co-captain during his senior year.
Tom Harrington

Tom recognized the advantages that web-based software could bring to the business of real estate management. An apartment owner for three decades on the West coast, he realized the connective power of the internet could combine with smart, specialized software to deliver the information and automation the multifamily industry sorely needs.

Tom co-founded On-Site in Silicon Valley with the goal of creating tools to manage his own real estate portfolio more efficiently. This owner’s perspective drove On-Site’s direction and focus on usability as the technology gained a wider audience. The company’s flagship product became the fastest growing resident-screening service in the country, and is now the industry standard for online leasing.
Tom graduated from Duke University in electrical engineering, teaches college classes on entrepreneurship and real estate investment and has been a featured speaker at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
